About Your Counselor

Hello!  My name is Brandon Wiese, and I am the new K-12 School Counselor. I am originally from the area. I grew up in Fennimore and currently live in Belmont with my wife.  I am excited to be a part of the Potosi School District and the level of excellence that comes with being a Chieftain!

I recently received my master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.  Before coming to Potosi, I worked as a Career Counselor at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville – Career Center.  Career opportunities are changing every day and I value the knowledge I have obtained over the past couple years so that I can be a valuable resource for your students!  My bachelor’s degree is in Broad Field Social Science and was obtained in 2011 from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville as well.  I also have previous experience as a social worker, football coach, and most recently as a baseball coach.  I truly enjoy the opportunity of being an educator in all phases of life!

I look forward to getting to know all of the students, as well as the community!  Please do not hesitate to contact me or stop by my office, even if it is just to say hello.  I take great pride in being your School Counselor and greatly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of your district’s team!

My goal as your School Counselor is to enhance academic, career, and personal/social success for ALL students of ALL ages.

Please feel free to contact me at any time!
